After launching the Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) e-course, Aviation eLearning developed type-specific course extensions for Boeing 737 and ATR 42/72. The Boeing 737 and ATR 42/72 add-ons to the general part of the UPRT e-course are now available for company clients and will soon be available for private individual users.
The courses combine a summary of the general part of the UPRT course with procedures specific for Boeing 737 and ATR 42/72 aircraft type. The procedures comply with the latest EASA UPRT Annex II to ED Decision 2015-12-R and FAA regulations. The type-specific extensions cover the following topics: causes and contributing factors to upsets (environmental, mechanical, pilot induced), aircraft system causes, stall recognition, stall recovery, upset prevention and upset recovery.
Both courses are case-based and different cases are used for different subjects in initial and recurrent training. Interactions, virtual mentors, and modern design create an engaging training experience for the crew.
To distribute the courses and track training, the company clients can use their own LMS, which ensures quick and easy implementation. Aviation eLearning’s well tested LMS is also an option, where companies can upload their own content such as briefing documents, PowerPoint presentations and/or questionnaires in addition to e-courses.
